Who this covers

ArcoNet, LLC ("ArcoNet," "we," "us," "our") is a website design, hosting, and maintenance company based in Indiana, working with small businesses across Indiana and Ohio.

This policy describes what happens to information collected through arconet.llc and through the services we provide to our clients. By using this site, you agree to what's described here.

What we collect

The mockup request form

If you ask for a free mockup on our homepage, the form collects three things: your business name, your town, and your email address. That's it — no account, no password, no phone number required. The form is delivered to our inbox through a third-party form-delivery service, which processes the submission in order to pass it along to us.

When you contact us directly

If you email, call, or text us, we receive whatever you choose to include — typically your name, business name, contact details, and whatever you're writing to us about. We keep that correspondence the way any business keeps its email.

Billing information, if you become a client

When you sign up for a plan, we collect the details needed to invoice you: name, business name, billing address, and email. Payments are handled by a third-party payment processor. Your full card number and banking credentials go directly to that processor — they are not collected or stored on our servers. We receive only what we need to confirm and reconcile a payment, such as the amount, date, invoice reference, and the last four digits of the card.

Basic server logs

Our hosting provider records standard technical information when a page is served: IP address, browser and device type, the page requested, and a timestamp. This is ordinary web-server logging used to keep the site up and secure. It is not used to build a marketing profile of you.

What we don't do

Worth stating plainly, because a lot of sites do the opposite:

• We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. Not to anyone, not ever.
• We do not run third-party analytics on this site — no Google Analytics, no heatmaps, no session recording.
• We do not use advertising pixels or retargeting trackers. There is no Meta pixel, no ad network, no cross-site tracking.
• We do not set cookies to follow you around. Any cookie involved is strictly functional — for example, one your payment processor needs to complete a transaction securely.
• We do not add you to a mailing list because you requested a mockup. If we email you, it's because you asked us something or you're a client.

If any of this changes, we'll update this page and say so in Nº010 before it takes effect.

How we use information

We use what we collect to:

• Build the mockup you asked for and send it to you
• Answer your questions and follow up on a conversation you started
• Set up, design, host, and maintain your website if you become a client
• Send invoices, process payments, and keep accurate billing records
• Meet our accounting, tax, and legal obligations
• Detect and prevent fraud, spam, abuse, and technical problems
• Improve our own site and the services we offer

Who we share it with

We share information only in these situations:

• Service providers. The vendors that make our business run — our form-delivery service, payment processor, email provider, and hosting provider. Each receives only what it needs to perform its function for us, and is not permitted to use it for its own marketing.
• Legal requirements. If we're required by law, subpoena, or a valid request from a government or law-enforcement authority, we may disclose information — and we'll limit any disclosure to what's actually required.
• Protecting people. Where we reasonably believe disclosure is necessary to prevent fraud, protect someone's safety, or defend our legal rights.
• Business transfer. If ArcoNet is ever merged, acquired, or sells its assets, client and customer information may transfer as part of that deal. We'd notify you and this policy would continue to apply until it's replaced.

That list is exhaustive. We don't share your information with anyone else for their own purposes.

How long we keep it

Mockup requests and inquiries. We keep these while the conversation is active and for a reasonable period afterward in case you come back to us. If you ask us to delete a request, we will.

Client and billing records. We keep these for the life of the relationship and afterward for as long as our accounting, tax, and legal obligations require — generally several years for financial records.

Server logs. Retained on a short rolling basis by our hosting provider for security and diagnostics.

When information is no longer needed for the purposes above, we delete it or strip it of anything that identifies you.

Your choices and rights

Whatever state or country you're in, you can ask us to:

• Show you what personal information we hold about you
• Correct anything that's wrong or out of date
• Delete your information, subject to records we're legally required to keep — completed transactions, for example
• Stop contacting you. Reply to any email from us and say so, or use the contact details below

Just email us at the address in Nº011 and tell us what you want. We don't require a special form, and we won't treat you differently for asking. We'll respond within a reasonable time and always within any deadline the law sets.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act or the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation, including the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. We'll honor those rights where they apply to you.

How we protect it

This site is served over HTTPS with a strict content security policy, HSTS, and clickjacking and MIME-sniffing protections enabled. We keep the number of third parties touching your data as small as we practically can, and we hand payment card data to a specialist processor rather than handling it ourselves.

No method of transmitting or storing information is perfectly secure, and we won't claim otherwise. If we ever discover a breach affecting your personal information, we'll notify you and any regulator as required by law.

Children's privacy

Our site and services are meant for business owners and other adults. We don't direct them at children under 13 and we don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we'll delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our practices, tools, or legal obligations change. When we do, we'll post the revised version on this page and update the effective date at the top. If a change materially affects how we handle information we already hold about you, we'll make a reasonable effort to tell you directly before it takes effect.
